Rex Moore Electric was founded in 1922 by Benjamin Rex Moore. A century later the company carries the same name, run with the same insistence on doing the work right.

Benjamin Rex Moore founded Rex Moore Electric.
1940
Vivian Rex Moore joined his father in the company and started doing larger projects.
1950
Benjamin Rex Moore retired from the business and Vivian Rex Moore assumed leadership.
1958
The business found its market niche as a qualified electrical contractor performing service and maintenance work.
1968
Incorporated in California and renamed Rex Moore Electrical Contractors & Engineers, identifying the company as a full-service electrical contracting and engineering firm.
1989
Central Valley was established.
1990
David Rex Moore joined the firm, extending a family tradition to four generations.
1992
Sierra Nevada Branch was established.
1995
Entrance into the fire alarm, security and telecommunications market.
2002
Rex Moore Electrical Contractors & Engineers formed as a CA General Partnership between Steven R. Moore of RMEC&E, Inc. and David R. Moore, William C. Hubbard, P.E. and J. Brock Littlejohn, C.P.A. of Rex Moore Group, Inc.
2017
Jason Blum was promoted to President of Rex Moore Group, Inc.
2019
Central Coast Branch was established.
2022
Rex Moore began a National Division to continue expansion across the United States.
